A celebration was held on October 22, 2025, at the Austin Country Club, honoring Harvey Penick through his students, Tom Kite, Sandra Palmer, and Ben Crenshaw. The Texas Golf Hall of Fame also celebrated 100 years of Texas Golf Champions, with 21 of its members being Longhorns!
