The Texas Golf Hall of Fame will have its Gathering of Eagles Celebration on October 22, 2025, at Austin Country Club. We are celebrating Harvey Penick and his students. Tom Kite, Sandra Palmer, and Ben Crenshaw will share stories from Mr. Penick, and we will celebrate our members through 100 years of University of Texas Golf. More details coming soon on purchasing tables and supporting the celebration.

HOUSTON, TX (May 6, 2025) An economic impact study released today reports that the Texas golf industry is fueling major economic growth with $14.2 billion in total economic output, supporting more than 107,000 jobs, and labor
income of nearly $4.8 billion for the state. In recognition of the industry’s statewide importance, Texas legislative leaders have issued a proclamation declaring today as Texas Golf Day, honoring golf’s contributions to the economy, communities, and quality of life across the Lone Star State.

The honorees will be celebrated during the formal induction ceremony, which will take place at the prestigious Houston Country Club, Houston, TX on Monday, October 21, 2024. This year’s class represents a remarkable group of individuals who have made significant contributions to the game of golf in Texas.

San Antonio, Texas – On Monday, October 17th, the Texas Golf Hall of Fame celebrated, and officially inducted, its Class of 2022 as official members into the greatest state golf hall of fame in the country. The inductees were nominated and voted upon by living Hall members, the Texas Golf Hall of Fame Board of Directors, and designated national and Texas golf media members.
