Westervelt “Westy” Ballard, Jr. At-Large
Business Leader | Marine Corps Veteran

Westy Ballard serves as Principal of a diversified investment firm with experience across equity, credit, and real assets. His career spans global business leadership, including executive roles at publicly traded companies and oversight of operations in more than 30 countries.
Prior to his private-sector career, Westy served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps, earning the rank of Captain.
He continues his commitment to service through philanthropic leadership, including his work with the Marine Corps–Law Enforcement Foundation.

Cameron Doan, PGA - Permanent Association - NTPGA
Director of Golf and Hall of Fame Member Class of 2019

Cameron Doan, PGA, is the Director of Golf at Preston Trail Golf Club and a long-standing leader within the Northern Texas PGA.
A PGA Member since 1994, Cameron has served the Section in numerous leadership roles, including his current position as 31st President.
Known for his mentorship, Cameron has helped guide more than a dozen professionals into leadership positions across the industry.
His career achievements include being elected to the Texas Golf Hall of Fame in 2019 and, most recently, being named the 2025 Northern Texas PGA Golf Professional of the Year.

Director of Agronomy | Golf Course Superintendent

Jake Snyman brings more than 25 years of experience in turfgrass management and golf operations across international, private, resort, and municipal settings.
After beginning his career in South Africa and the United Kingdom, Jake relocated to Texas in 2009 and built a strong résumé at The University of Texas Golf Club and Barton Creek Resort.
As Director of Agronomy for the Alamo City Golf Trail, he has led modernization efforts across eight city-owned courses, focusing on data-driven practices, staff development, and elevated course conditions.
Jake’s service to the industry includes long-standing leadership roles within the GCSAA and a passion for growing the game through stewardship and excellence.

Sedric Walker is the CEO & Founder of OTL Magazine, a luxury lifestyle and travel publication distributed across Texas, Scottsdale/Phoenix, and Las Vegas.
He leads the publication’s editorial vision and strategic direction, positioning OTL at the intersection of golf, travel, lifestyle, and premium experiences. Walker has built a longstanding career in media and publishing, with experience spanning print, broadcast, and brand development.
He founded the Capitol Times newspaper before launching OTL Magazine, which has evolved into a multi-market platform recognized for thoughtful storytelling, high production standards, and enduring partnerships.
His work often engages with golf properties, destination organizations, and hospitality leaders to support visibility, strengthen brand perception, and highlight golf’s role as a connector to travel, community, and economic impact. Walker brings a relationship- driven approach to media, emphasizing credibility, alignment, and long-term value.
